STADIUM The Stadium "Spartak" Adress: St.-Petersburg, Akkuratova st. 7a Max attendace: about 3000. Free Entrance HC BSK (ex-Krasnaya Zarya) is a bandy-club from Saint-Petersburg. For a long time the home matches of our team were conducted on the Krasnaya Zarya stadium, but in this season 2001/2002 the home matches will be conducted on the stadium "Spartak". “BSK” is one of the oldest bandy-clubs in Russia. It was founded in 1936. The team plays in the first league of Russian bandy championship. 10 seasons (1936, 1950, 1954 – 1958, 1993 – 1994) “Krasnaya Zarya” had played in the Premier League. It's best achievement was the 4st place in the championship of USSR (1950). The nowadays aim of the team is to get in the Premier league. This problem was solved in the season of 1999-2000. The team had finished the bandy championship on 2nd place in the first league, but the refusal was received because of the absence of the stadium with artificial ice in Saint-Petersburg. Nevertheless "BSK" (ex-Krasnaya Zarya) is know as the main favorites of the first league as before. The Fans-organization named “Red Bandy Fans” was formed in 2000. This is the first group of the bandy-fans in Saint-Petersburg. Being the admirers of Bandy, we can't let the only bandy-team in this city stay without support. Because it's true that Saint-Petersburg is the native city of the bandy in Russia. As for us, we will try to do our best in helping and supporting our team in the difficult battles on the sport-grounds of our country. |
